IncomeRun is an independent website about starting small businesses. Most people who think about starting something never get past the idea stage, usually because they cannot tell what it would really cost, what the first months look like, or where it tends to go wrong. Every guide on this site is built to answer those three questions before you spend any money.
What you will find here
- Business idea guides. Fifty ideas, each with an itemised budget, a three-month launch plan, marketing tactics, the main risks and a bottom line.
- Stories. Long reads on how well-known companies got started, written to show what small-business owners can learn from them.
- Comments. Every guide has a comment section where you can ask questions, challenge an idea or share your own experience.
How the guides are made
Our guides are drafted with the help of AI tools and then reviewed and edited by a person before they are published. Budgets and timelines are rough estimates meant to help you compare ideas, not quotes. Costs vary a lot between countries and cities, so check local prices, permits and insurance rules before you commit money. Some guides mention real companies as examples. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.
What we do not do
We do not sell courses, templates or “get rich quick” systems, and we do not promise that anyone will earn money. IncomeRun is free to read and is funded by advertising.
